Tips and Pointers for Presenters
Oral Presentations Format:
Since this meeting is interdisciplinary in nature, we will be strict
in allowing time for questions and answers to promote a discourse
between disciplines. Each author has 15 minutes for his/her
presentation, with approximately 12 minutes given for the
presentation followed by 3 minutes for questions and answers. Invited
papers have a 30 min. window, with ~25 min for presentation and ~5
min for questions.
Meeting Room Equipment
The meeting room is equipped with the following:
- one data/video projector
- wireless lavalier microphone
- wireless handheld microphone
- one screen of appropriate size
- one computer
- wireless internet
In order to speed up the process of switching from a presentation to the next one we encourage you to use the meeting supplied computer.
Please bring your presentation on one of the following media:- USB hard drive
- CD-ROM, CD-R, or DVD
Note: If your graphics or video clips are not embedded in your presentation please be sure to bring them as well. Poster Display and Mounting
Posters will be displayed on the meeting room wall space. The poster format has to be such to fit a 3' x 5' (~0.91 m x 1.52 m). The A0
format will fit in this area. The room ceiling height is 7' 8'' (~2.21m), so if two posters are landscaped they can be stacked.
Mounting material will be supplied at the meeting. Registered Participants
