...NOAA WEATHER RADIO ROUTINE WEEKLY TEST POSTPONED UNTIL THURSDAY...

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in coordination 
and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), will conduct a 
nationwide test of the Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) and 
Emergency Alert System (EAS) on Wednesday, October 3, 2018. The 
WEA test will begin at 818 AM HST and the EAS test will follow 
at 820 AM HST. 

To prevent stations from receiving multiple EAS tests in one day,
the National Weather Service will postpone the NOAA Weather Radio
Routine Weekly Test. This test is normally conducted each 
Wednesday, except when postponed until the next available day. In
this case, the test will be conducted on Thursday, October 4, 
2018, between 11 am and noon.
