...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...the entire island of Kauai.

* WHEN...Through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Flood prone roads and other low lying areas may be 
  closed due to elevated runoff and overflowing streams. Urban areas 
  may receive more significant flooding and property damage due to 
  rapid runoff.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - A front and upper trough will stall over Kauai through
    tonight while trade winds push showers over much of the same
    windward and mountain areas and along the north shore.
    Wainiha and Hanalei Rivers, and Hanakapiai Stream will be the
    highest risk of flash flooding.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
