...FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR KAUAI NIIHAU AND OAHU EXTENDED THROUGH
FRIDAY NIGHT...

.An upper level trough is expected to interact with a moist
airmass late tonight through Friday night. The highest threat for
heavy rainfall and possible thunderstorms will be Friday and 
Friday night on Kauai. Although somewhat less probable than 
Kauai, there will still be a threat for heavy rainfall on Oahu
through Friday night.

The Flash Flood Watch is now in effect for

* Kauai, Niihau and Oahu.

* Through late Friday night

* The flash flood threat from moderate to heavy showers will
  increase over the western islands, especially near Kauai later
  tonight and Friday morning. The threat for flash flooding will 
  be highest Friday and Friday night.
  

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

Please monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
