...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 600 AM TUESDAY THROUGH 
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for Kauai and Niihau.

* From 600 AM Tuesday through Wednesday afternoon

* Heavy rain is likely ahead of a front approaching from the
  northwest.

* Runoff from widespread heavy rain may cause flash flooding of
  streams and flooding of streets in urban areas.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.

Report flooding to police or civil defense officials for relay to
the National Weather Service.

This watch will be updated at 800 AM Tuesday or sooner.
