...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 PM HST THIS AFTERNOON FOR THE 
ISLAND OF OAHU IN HONOLULU COUNTY...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall.

* WHERE...The island of Oahu in Honolulu County.

* WHEN...Until 130 PM HST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding on roads, poor drainage areas, and in 
  streams. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or 
  is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1020 AM HST, radar indicated heavy rain over central Oahu
    and portions of the Waianae Range. Rain was falling at a rate
    of 1 to 2 inches per hour. The area of rainfall has been
    nearly stationary.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Waipio, Schofield Barracks, Waianae, Wheeler Field, Nanakuli,
    Kunia, Wahiawa, Mililani, Waialua, Makakilo, Waikele,
    Waipahu, Kapolei, Haleiwa, Ewa Beach, and Pearl City.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone 
to flooding.

A Flood Watch is also in effect for all Hawaiian Islands through 
Friday afternoon.

persists.
