The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  The island of Hawaii in Hawaii County

* Until 900 PM HST.

* At 557 PM HST, satellite and automated rain gauges indicated heavy 
  rain over the lower slopes of leeward of the Big Island, between 
  Kealakekua and Milolii. A rain gage in Honaunau reported heavy 
  rain falling at a rate near 2 nches per hour.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Captain Cook, Honaunau, Kealakekua, Milolii and Hawaii Volcanoes 
  Park Kahuku Unit.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone 
to flooding.

This advisory may need to be extended beyond 900 PM HST if flooding 
persists.
