...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 3 AM HST EARLY THIS 
MORNING FOR THE ISLAND OF MOLOKAI IN MAUI COUNTY...

At 133 AM HST, radar indicated heavy rain over west Molokai, with 
rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour. The heaviest rain was 
falling west of the Molokai Airport around Maunaloa. In addition, 
Kawela Gulch and Kaunakakai Gulch remain at elevated levels, with 
additional heavy rainfall developing just to the southwest of the 
island. Minor flooding of low lying and poor drainage areas can be 
expected.

* Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to...
  The entire island of Molokai.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone 
to flooding.

Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due 
to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.

Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on 
foot. Turn around, don't drown.

A Flash Flood Watch is also in effect.

This advisory may need to be extended beyond 300 AM HST if flooding 
persists.
