...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM HST THIS AFTERNOON 
FOR THE ISLAND OF HAWAII IN HAWAII COUNTY...

At 227 PM HST, radar indicated a few showers persisting over the 
Hilo and Puna Districts, with newer heavy showers and thunderstorms 
developing upslope of the area from Kona to Holualoa to Kealakekua, 
and over the North Kohala District.

* Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to...
  the entire Big Island.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone 
to flooding.

Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due 
to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.

Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on 
foot. Turn around, don't drown.

A Flash Flood Watch is also in effect.

persists.
