...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 845 AM HST THIS MORNING 
FOR THE ISLAND OF OAHU IN HONOLULU COUNTY...

At 657 AM HST, radar indicated fast-moving bands of heavy rain 
moving over Oahu from the southwest. Additionally, a line of showers 
and thunderstorms is rapidly approaching from the west, which will 
bring a period of widespread heavy rainfall. In the heavier bursts 
of rain, expect rainfall rates briefly as high as 2 to 3 inches per 
hour, with very low visibility.

* This Advisory is for the entire island of Oahu. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone 
to flooding.

Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due 
to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.

Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on 
foot. Turn around, don't drown.

This advisory may need to be extended beyond 845 AM HST if flooding 
persists.
