...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 AM HST FOR THE
ISLAND OF KAUAI IN KAUAI COUNTY...

At 815 AM HST, radar indicated moderate to heavy showers repeatedly 
moving over Kauai from the north, producing very low visibility at 
times. Although individual showers are not remaining over any one 
area for a prolonged period, they continue to form over and upstream 
of the island. Gages indicate rising water levels in rivers and 
streams across the island. 

Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to...
Kilauea, Anahola, Wailua, Hanalei, Na Pali State Park, Wainiha, North
Fork Wailua Trails, Moloaa, Princeville, Polihale, Kokee State Park
and Wailua Homesteads.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to
flooding.

Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due
to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.

Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on
foot. Turn around, don't drown.
