...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 730 PM HST FOR THE
ISLAND OF OAHU IN HONOLULU COUNTY...

At 514 PM HST...radar continued to show heavy showers and 
thunderstorms over the northern half of Oahu, with the heaviest 
rainfall of up to 3 inches per hour shifting over central Oahu near 
Wahiawa. Some rises in streams have been observed across windward 
Oahu, with further rises possible into the evening across windward 
areas and the north shore.

Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to...
Ahuimanu, Punaluu, Hauula, Mililani, Kaneohe, Haleiwa, Wheeler Field,
Wahiawa, Waialua, Waikane, Schofield Barracks and Kaneohe Marine
Base.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to
flooding.

Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due
to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.

Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on
foot. Turn around, don't drown.
