...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM HST FOR THE
ISLAND OF OAHU IN HONOLULU COUNTY...

At 1145 PM HST...radar indicated that very heavy rain was nearly 
stationary over the southeast coast of Oahu, from Makapuu to Hawaii 
Kai to near Diamond Head. Rainfall rates of 2 to 3 inches per hour 
are soaking urban areas, and will lead to significant ponding of 
water, especially along Kalanianaole Highway.

Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to... 

Kahala, Aina Haina, Hawaii Loa Ridge, Kuliouou, Hanauma Bay, and Niu 
Valley. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to
flooding.

Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due
to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.

Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on
foot. Turn around, don't drown.
