The National Weather Service in Honolulu has issued a

* Flood advisory for...
  The island of Oahu in Honolulu County

* Until 115 PM HST

* At 1010 AM HST, radar indicated that showers along the north shore 
  of Oahu were gradually diminishing, but new heavy showers were 
  developing elsewhere on the island, with rainfall rates near one 
  inch per hour. Some areas impacted by heavy rain include Kapolei, 
  Makakilo and Kalaeloa, as well as areas upslope from Pearl City 
  and Aiea. 

* This advisory includes the entire island of Oahu. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to
flooding.

Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due
to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.

Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on
foot. Turn around, don't drown.

This advisory may need to be extended beyond 115 PM HST if heavy rain
persists.

This advisory replaces the previously issued advisory that was in
effect for portions of the island of Oahu in Honolulu County.
