...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 230 AM HST FOR THE
ISLAND OF HAWAII IN HAWAII COUNTY...

At 105 AM HST...radar indicated that showers over the leeward 
Kohala district were gradually diminishing. However, runoff from 
earlier heavy rainfall continues in the area from Kawaihae to 
Mahukona. 

Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to... 
Kapaau, Kohala Ranch, Hawi, Halaula, Puako, Kawaihae, Kamuela, 
Mahukona and Mauna Lani.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to
flooding.

Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due
to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.

Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on
foot. Turn around, don't drown.
