...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 515 PM HST FOR THE
ISLAND OF KAUAI IN KAUAI COUNTY...

At 431 PM HST...radar indicated that moderate to briefly heavy
showers continued to stream over the island from the west, with most
of the rainfall affecting leeward portions of the island. 

Locations in the advisory include but are not limited to... 

Kalaheo, Waimea, Mana, Kekaha, Kokee State Park, Polihale, Hanapepe,
Koloa and Poipu.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Stay away from streams, drainage ditches and low lying areas prone to
flooding.

Rainfall and runoff will also cause hazardous driving conditions due
to ponding, reduced visibility and poor braking action.

Do not cross fast flowing or rising water in your vehicle, or on
foot. Turn around, don't drown.
