REMARKS:
280300Z POSITION NEAR 12.6N 112.8E.
TROPICAL DEPRESSION (TD) 30W (NOCK-TEN), LOCATED APPROXIMATELY 407 NM
EAST-NORTHEAST OF HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM, HAS TRACKED WEST-
SOUTHWESTWARD AT 15 KNOTS OVER THE PAST SIX HOURS. ANIMATED
MULTISPECTRAL SATELLITE IMAGERY AND A 272338Z SSMIS 91GHZ MICROWAVE
IMAGE DEPICT A FULLY EXPOSED LOW LEVEL CIRCULATION CENTER (LLCC)
WITH NO ASSOCIATED CONVECTION REMAINING. THE REMNANTS OF TD NOCK-TEN
WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE SOUTHWESTWARD EMBEDDED WITHIN THE NORTHEAST
MONSOON FLOW. EXPECT WINDS ASSOCIATED WITH THE COLD SURGE OVER THE
SOUTH CHINA SEA TO REMAIN STRONG (25-35 KNOTS), ALTHOUGH NOT
ASSOCIATED WITH THE REMNANTS OF TD 30W. HIGH VERTICAL WIND SHEAR AND
COOL, DRY AIR ASSOCIATED WITH THE COLD SURGE WILL PREVENT ANY RE-
INTENSIFICATION. THIS IS THE FINAL WARNING ON THIS SYSTEM BY THE
JOINT TYPHOON WRNCEN PEARL HARBOR HI. THE SYSTEM WILL BE CLOSELY
MONITORED FOR SIGNS OF REGENERATION. MAXIMUM SIGNIFICANT WAVE HEIGHT
AT 280000Z IS 18 FEET.//
