...HARBOR SURGES IN KAHULUI AND HILO...
A large, long-period north-northeast swell will linger through
this morning, then gradually diminish this afternoon through
Monday. This swell will likely produce moderate harbor surges in
Kahului and Hilo harbors this morning. Mariners using these
harbors should take appropriate precautionary actions to prevent
impacts from harbor surges, which can include broken mooring
lines and damage to vessels.
