...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM HST...

For the following areas...
Big Island Windward Waters...

At 118 PM HST, a shower capable of producing wind gusts to 40 kt and
waterspouts was located 15 nm east of FAD Buoy HK, or 22 nm east-
northeast of Hilo, moving north at 30 knots.

HAZARD...Waterspouts and wind gusts to 40 knots.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
suddenly higher waves.

Locations impacted include...
FAD Buoy E, FAD Buoy HK, FAD Buoy D, Cape Kumukahi and FAD Buoy G.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move to safe harbor immediately as gusty winds and high waves are
expected.

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
wind gusts to 40 knots, high waves, dangerous lightning, and heavy
rain are possible with this storm.

Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous
seas. Seek safe harbor immediately.
