For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:
Showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure
located around 500 miles southeast of Hilo, Hawaii remain
disorganized. The low is moving toward the northwest very slowly.
Over the next few days, the low will be moving into a more hostile
environment. Dry air and strengthening southwest winds aloft are
forecast to cause the low to dissipate by the middle of next week.
