For the central North Pacific...between 140W and 180W:
Thunderstorms have diminished around a disturbance around 500 miles
south southeast of Hilo, Hawaii. The system is moving west around 5
mph. Dry air and strengthening southwest winds aloft are forecast to
cause the disturbance to dissipate by the middle of next week.
